Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation is seeking a Senior Director, Business Support for the EBS function to govern critical financial and procurement systems, master data, and reporting. You will partner with Finance, Supply Chain, and IT to ensure compliant, efficient, and reliable system operations across the enterprise.

The role leads governance, data integrity, risk management, and control-related activities while driving performance in SAP S/4HANA and related applications.

Qualifications

• >12 years of progressive experience in Accounting, Financial Reporting, Finance, and enterprise systems.
• >Strong accounting expertise applied to cross-functional processes and tech-enabled solutions.
• >5+ years of leading professional staff, building high-performing teams.
• >Subject matter expertise in US GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• >Lead EBS governance, administration, and operational support across finance and supply chain.
• >Oversee financial and procurement systems security, access, and controls.
• >Provide strategic accounting guidance to leadership and process owners.
• >Ensure data integrity and governance across ERP and reporting systems.
• >Coordinate incident response, continuity, and remediation for system issues.
