Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace Defense Systems Division in San Diego, CA seeks a Development Program Director to lead a PMO team managing RF electronics development, iR&D and production programs with ~$100M portfolio. You will drive program plans, budgets, schedules, and risk while cultivating key customer relationships and pursuing large-scale production contracts.

The role requires 13+ years in program management with 10+ years in leadership, and security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• 13+ years in program management in electronics/defense
• 10+ years of leadership experience
• Experience leading cross-functional development programs with >$10M revenue
• Ability to obtain/maintain security clearance
• Experience transitioning development to production contracts (NPI)

Responsibilities

• Lead PMO team across RF electronics development, iR&D and production programs
• Oversee program plans, budget, schedules, and risk management
• Maintain strong customer relationships and engage BD for growth opportunities
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFAR/ITAR and contractual integrity
• Provide regular status updates to leadership and customers
