Job summary

Presidio is seeking a Principal Architect, Digital Services to drive presales discovery, architecture, and client engagements. You will translate complex business needs into measurable, value-driven solutions in partnership with sales, delivery, and vendor ecosystems.

The role emphasizes executive presence, storytelling, and a consultative approach, with a focus on AI and digital modernization for Retail or Manufacturing sectors and limited travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
• Overall 10+ years of relevant experience
• Retail or Manufacturing industry experience is given high priority
• 7+ years of architecture, design, implementation, and/or consulting in digital and/or cloud technologies
• 5+ years of specific domain experience in application modernization, AI, GenAI, and data estate modernization
• 5+ years hands‑on experience with at least one hyperscaler cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Demonstrated comfort leading presentations and executive-level dialogues
• Aptitude for consultative presales and ability to navigate ambiguity
• Growth mindset and willingness to mentor others
• Collaborative style and strong time management

Responsibilities

• Drive Digital Services Sales with cross‑functional teams
• Lead discovery and translate findings into practical roadmaps
• Create and deliver compelling technical proposals and solutions
• Lead opportunities to achieve technical wins for Presidio Digital Services
• Partner with delivery teams to ensure customer success and risk‑managed solutions
• Develop cross‑cloud reference architectures and future‑proof solutions
• Mentor and enable others across the team
• Engage with vendor partners to drive GTM strategies and ecosystem alignment
