Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a Development Strategy Manager to translate market intelligence, portfolio priorities, and commercial requirements into actionable recommendations. You will support capital allocation, leasable inventory creation, and executive decision-making across North America.

You will collaborate with marketing, sales, product and operations to enable prospecting, customer engagement, and enterprise deals.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field; MBA or professional accounting qualification preferred.
5+ years of experience in commercial strategy, enterprise deal execution, contract structuring, commercial operations, development strategy, or related disciplines.
Demonstrated experience supporting large, multi-stakeholder enterprise opportunities within RFP-driven or structured sales environments.
Exposure to technology, data centers, telecommunications, infrastructure, financial services, real estate, or other capital-intensive industries.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

Support/enable business development through cross-functional collaboration with marketing, sales, product, design, and operations.
Develop marketing materials, site briefs, and executive-level presentations aligned to a One Vantage approach.
Contribute to commercial narratives and positioning aligning customer requirements with Vantage capabilities.
Integrate leasing intelligence, workload segmentation and market signals into site-level strategy.
Shape asset positioning including size, phasing, power, schedule, customer fit, and leasing strategy.
Produce portfolio readouts and market narratives to position sites against customer timelines.
Support Market Development inputs for Board materials, monthly reviews and investor materials.
Prepare clear agendas, analyses, recommendations, and follow-up materials for governance forums.
Maintain data integrity across site analyses, cost models, dashboards and market trackers.
Keep NA development pipeline view current with sites, risks, and market activity.
Identify opportunities to stop, continue, accelerate or double down based on objectives.
Champion CRM, leasing, finance, and commercial tooling platforms and data quality.
Collaborate across marketing, sales, product, legal, finance, development, and operations.
