Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a meticulous Preconstruction Manager to support future data center deployments across North America. The role focuses on pre-construction estimating, development delivery, scheduling and cost optimization, collaborating with NSD, CON, DM, DE, Procurement and Power teams.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in budgeting and pricing for construction, with data center or MEP estimating experience, and strong proficiency in ProCore, Power BI and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Estimating, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 8 years of related experience required.
• Experience leading new construction budgeting and pricing for all trades; data center experience preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, structural and civil engineering scopes.

Responsibilities

• Generate Capital Expenditure proformas for new site developments.
• Lead project development strategy, business cases, and forecasting revenue dates with NSD/CON/DM/DE teams.
• Create cost studies for conceptual planning and pre-construction phases.
• Coordinate with multiple internal teams to ensure accurate cost accounting.
• Review contractor proposals for cost, scope and schedule impacts.
• Develop and maintain cost data processes and internal estimates.
