Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a Development Strategy Manager to translate market intelligence, demand signals, and portfolio priorities into actionable recommendations across North America. You will help guide capital allocation, leasable inventory creation, and executive decision-making with cross-functional partners in marketing, sales, product, design, and operations.

The role interfaces with senior stakeholders, contributes to market narratives, and maintains portfolio visibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal, Economics, Real Estate, or related field; MBA or professional accounting qualification preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial strategy, enterprise deal execution, contract structuring, commercial operations, development strategy, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience supporting large, multi-stakeholder enterprise opportunities within RFP-driven or structured sales environments.
• Exposure to technology, data centers, telecommunications, infrastructure, financial services, real estate, or other capital-intensive industries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Support Market Development inputs for Board materials, Monthly Business Reviews, executive leadership updates, NALT discussions, investor materials, customer inventory requests, and recurring development reporting.
• Enable structured decision-making through portfolio reviews, funnel reviews, monthly strategy meetings, and other governance forums by preparing clear agendas, analysis, recommendations, and follow-up materials.
• Ensure consistency of messaging, definitions, KPI framing, assumptions, and portfolio narratives across development outputs.
• Update and maintain site comparison analyses, total cost of ownership models, portfolio dashboards, market opportunity trackers, land budget support materials, and other source-of-truth datasets.
• Support scenario planning, funnel conversion analysis, inventory coverage analysis, leasing target analysis, and market-level comparative assessments.
• Maintain an up-to-date view of the NA development pipeline, including sites, risks, decision timing, and market activity.
