Transformco Corporate in Illinois is seeking a Demand Planner to partner with the buying team and convert strategic plans into annual merchandise financial plans by department and class using iPlan, Excel, or other systems. The role drives consensus forecasts with cross-functional teams for new and existing items to determine shipment needs.

Responsibilities include leading monthly S&OP, reducing forecast error, selecting SKU-appropriate forecast models, and acting as a brand volume expert.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5-10 years of related experience
• 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with buying teams to understand forecasts, promotions, pricing changes, and events to meet member demand.
• Lead a monthly S&OP process with Supply Chain, vendors, finance, merchant, and online teams to develop forecasts and financial receipts.
• Minimize forecast error by identifying contributing factors and adjusting forecasts.
• Determine the forecast model per SKU based on product and seasonality; set variance tolerances.
• Develop brand volume expertise through understanding consumption and market trends.
• Partner with supply chain to understand implications of forecast changes and minimize costs.
• Mentor and train other Planners as needed.
