Job summary

B&G Foods, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Demand Planner in Parsippany, NJ to develop and execute a demand and inventory plan for multiple food categories, collaborating with sales, marketing, and customer support.

The role requires at least 5 years of experience in demand planning with DRP/MRP and ERP systems, plus strong Excel skills and cross-functional leadership to improve forecast accuracy and drive the S&OP process.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, and end-of-life cycle control.
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field is required.
• Demonstrated experience with DRP/MRP functionality and ERP systems.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Excellent communication and ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Generate monthly demand forecasts using the demand planning system (e.g., Dynamics).
• Lead Consensus Forecast meetings with Marketing and Sales to review forecasts and related data.
• Advise on variances between forecasts, plans, and actuals to leadership.
• Support S&OP processes with data and analysis.
• Improve forecasting methods and documentation for demand planning processes.
