B&G Foods Inc. is seeking a demand planning professional in a highly visible Supply Chain role located in Parsippany, NJ.

The position develops and executes demand and inventory plans across multiple food categories to meet sales and service goals, working closely with supply chain, sales, marketing and customer support teams. The role emphasizes data analysis, forecast accuracy, and collaboration with cross-functional partners to drive the planning process and improve forecast techniques across

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in managing end-of-life cycle and absolute inventory.
• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience with DRP/MRP functionality and ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate monthly demand forecasts utilizing the demand planning system (e.g., Dynamics).
• Conduct forecast accuracy analysis and ensure forecasting processes are followed.
• Assemble and analyze data to create the sales forecast.
• Lead Consensus Forecast meetings with Marketing and Sales to review forecasts.
• Advise teams of variances between forecasts and actuals.
• Measure the impact of forecast accuracy on the business.
• Prepare and communicate forecast metrics to Leadership.
• Support S&OP processes with data and analysis.
• Improve forecasting techniques and approaches.
• Coordinate demand planning for new product introductions.
