Job summary

B&G Foods is seeking a hands-on Demand Planning and S&OP professional to develop and operate a demand and inventory plan across food categories. You will forecast, analyze, and coordinate with sales, marketing, and customer support to meet service objectives.

With 5+ years in inventory planning and ERP/DRP experience, you will lead consensus meetings, drive forecast accuracy, and improve forecasting methods while maintaining documentation for processes and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field required.
• At least 5 years of experience in inventory and end-of-life cycle management.
• Experience with DRP/MRP functionality and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of inventory metrics, turns and margin contributions.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate monthly demand forecasts using the demand planning system (e.g., Dynamics).
• Conduct forecast accuracy analysis and ensure processes are followed.
• Assemble and analyze data for sales forecasts.
• Lead consensus forecast meetings with Marketing and Sales.
• Advise teams on variances between forecasts, plans and actuals.
• Measure impact of forecast accuracy on the business.
• Prepare and communicate forecast metrics to Leadership.
• Support S&OP with data and analysis.
• Improve forecasting techniques and approaches.
• Coordinate demand planning for new product introductions.
