Job summary

Nokian Tyres is hiring a Demand Planner for the Dayton/Nashville area to forecast regional demand and ensure it aligns with the global planning process. The role collaborates with sales, marketing and product development to build a consensus forecast that supports service and inventory targets.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 2–4 years of experience, strong analytical skills, proficient MS Office/Excel, and familiarity with Relex forecasting software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations Management or related field.
• 2–4 years relevant work experience; automotive industry experience a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Able to communicate complex data effectively across various organizational levels.
• Proficient with MS-Office application suite; advanced / expert skill level with MS-Excel.
• Previous experience with Relex demand forecasting software preferred.
• Commitment to excellence, continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to travel up to 20% (domestic and international).

Responsibilities

• Forecast regional demand and ensure alignment with global planning.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and product development on consensus forecasts.
• Monitor SKU level demand and adjust planning based on trends and seasonality.
• Identify and resolve stock issues with the global demand planning team.
• Disposal planning for excess/inactive inventory as needed.
• Support new product launches and lifecycle planning.
