Job summary

Nokian Tyres plc is seeking a Demand Planner to forecast regional demand across product lines and align it with global planning processes. You will collaborate with sales, marketing and product development to build a consensus forecast that supports service and inventory targets.

The role emphasizes SKU-level forecasting, trend analysis, and collaboration with the global team to minimize stockouts and optimize inventory while enabling successful product introductions and transitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations Management or related field.
• 2–4 years relevant work experience; automotive industry experience a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Able to communicate complex data effectively across various organizational levels.
• Proficient with MS-Office application suite; advanced / expert skill level with MS-Excel.
• Previous experience with Relex demand forecasting software preferred.
• Commitment to excellence, continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to travel up to 20% (domestic and international).

Responsibilities

• Forecasting activities for regional customer base and product lines.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and product development to establish a consensus forecast.
• Monitor and adjust SKU level demand plan by sales trends and model.
• Identify excess and obsolete inventory and recommend disposition.
• Work with global demand planning team to resolve out of stock issues and optimize safety stock.
• Support new product launches with forecast history and insights.
• Uphold Nokian mission and values; perform other duties as assigned.
