Job summary

DuPont seeks a Regional Demand Planner for Shelter Solutions in North America to partner with Commercial, Supply Chain, and Product leaders. You will develop and manage a 24-month demand forecast across identified products and ensure accuracy and bias reduction.

The role requires collaboration across functions, strong data analytics, and advanced Excel skills. It is a hybrid position with 4 days in-office and 1 day remote, located at Chestnut Run in Wilmington, Delaware or Midland, Michigan.

Qualifications

• Interface with sales, marketing, supply chain and operations to create actionable plans.
• Demand planning, analytics or supply chain experience required.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
• Keen sense for analyzing data and deriving business insights.
• Demonstrated process improvement and project leadership.
• Self-starter, proactive with minimal daily guidance.
• Commitment to teamwork and accountability with cross-functional partners.
• Four-year college degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of three years of experience in sales, marketing, demand planning, business analytics, or supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Regional Demand Plan for identified products.
• Document and update the assumptions supporting the demand plan.
• Establish, maintain and utilize forecasting tools for a multi-view.
• Challenge sales/marketing assumptions when deviations occur.
• Ensure finished product demand forecast accuracy and reduce bias.
• Aggregate all demand sources for the 24-month IBP horizon.
• Review market/product intelligence and integrate new products/strategies.
• Monitor demand plan performance vs. plan (bias, forecast error).
• Develop and evaluate multiple what-if scenarios to resolve imbalances.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and Customer Service to execute tactics for abnormal demand or supply issues.
• Partner with Finance and Commercial Leaders to dial in changes into monthly outlook.
• Work with commercial and supply chain teams to continuously improve forecasting.
