Job summary

Acushnet Company is seeking a Planning & Inventory Analyst to drive supply chain performance through demand planning, inventory management, and procurement execution. You will develop forecasts, optimize inventory, and manage POs while balancing cost and service objectives.

The role works cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Operations, Product Management, and more, delivering actionable insights, supporting S&OP processes, and leading continuous improvement using ERP/MRP systems and BI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; APICS/CPIM or other supply chain certifications are a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, procurement, supply chain analytics, or related supply chain functions.
• Experience in consumer goods, apparel, footwear, sporting goods, or seasonal product environments preferred; knowledge of apparel seasonality is a plus.
• Strong understanding of forecasting methodologies, inventory planning, procurement processes, MRP/ERP systems, and end-to-end supply chain operations.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, Infor M3, or similar systems, along with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Demonstrated analytical expertise with data and reporting tools; experience with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or other BI platforms preferred.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts to ensure product availability while balancing cost and service objectives.
• Manage inventory levels and procurement execution; optimize replenishment strategies.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Operations, Product Management, Merchandising, and Sourcing teams to deliver insights and drive S&OP processes.
• Help drive continuous improvement initiatives and leverage planning systems and BI tools to improve forecast accuracy and inventory performance.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to improve operational efficiency and business results.
