Job summary

Acushnet Company in Massachusetts is seeking a Planning & Inventory Analyst to drive demand planning, inventory control, and procurement execution across the supply chain. You will develop forecasts, optimize stock levels, manage purchase orders, and deliver insights through reports to support S&OP processes.

Collaborating with Sales, Finance, Operations, Product Management, Merchandising and Sourcing, you will champion continuous improvement using ERP/MRP systems and BI tools while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; APICS/CPIM or other supply chain certifications are a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, procurement, or related supply chain functions.
• Experience in consumer goods, apparel, footwear, or seasonal product environments preferred; knowledge of apparel seasonality is a plus.
• Strong understanding of forecasting methodologies, inventory planning, procurement processes, MRP/ERP systems, and end-to-end supply chain operations.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, Infor M3, or similar systems, along with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Demonstrated analytical expertise with the ability to leverage data and reporting tools; experience with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or other BI platforms preferred.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with a proven ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts, optimizing inventory levels and managing purchase orders.
• Ensure product availability while balancing cost and service objectives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Operations, Product Management, Merchandising and Sourcing.
• Provide actionable insights through reporting and analytics; support S&OP processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging planning systems and BI tools.
