Job summary

Acushnet Company is seeking a Senior Planner, Demand Planning & Procurement to lead demand forecasting, inventory planning, and procurement for the Footwear business. You will partner with Sales, Product Line Management, and factory teams to ensure product availability and timely deliveries.

The role emphasizes forecast accuracy, inventory availability, and proactive mitigation of supply risks while supporting launches and seasonal initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field required; APICS/CPIM certification preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, inventory management, procurement, or supply chain planning within a global consumer products environment.
• Strong expertise in MRP/ERP systems, supply planning processes, and inventory management principles.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience using SAP, Cognos Report Studio, and Power BI.
• Proven ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable planning and purchasing decisions.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in forecasting, reporting, purchase order management, and item setup.
• Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities with the ability to address inventory, availability, and supply chain challenges.
• Effective communicator and collaborative partner, able to work cross-functionally with Sales, Product Management, Planning, and global factory teams.
• Customer-focused mindset with flexibility to support international operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive demand forecasting, inventory planning, procurement, and product availability for Footwear.
• Develop and manage demand plans, analyze inventory and supply requirements, issue and track purchase orders.
• Maintain forecast accuracy and inventory availability targets.
• Support special product launches, collaborations, and seasonal initiatives.
• Communicate with Sales, Product Line Management, factory teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
