Job summary

SGS Consulting seeks a demand planning analyst to determine models for item-level forecasts and create product flow patterns. You will lead CPFR forecasting meetings with Mattel and retailer teams, presenting findings and action plans for seasons and promotions.

You will collaborate daily with sales, retail analysts, and buying teams on in-season execution, order reviews, and chase/cancel activities, helping reach consensus forecasts and optimize fill rates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• 3-4 years in a retailer-facing role, inventory management or demand planning preferred.
• CPG experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Determine appropriate model for evaluating item-level forecasts and analysis.
• Create product flow pattern based on seasonality, promotions, distribution and price.
• Lead and participate in CPFR forecasting meetings with retailer, present findings and action plan.
• Collaborate with sales and retail teams on in-season execution and order reviews.
• Present POS demand forecasts to cross-functional S&OP teams to reach consensus forecasts.
• Provide PO order recommendations for domestic and import needs.
• Liaise between customer service and supply planning to maximize PO fill rates.
• Generate reports to support sales and other business needs.
