Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking a Demand Forecasting and Planning specialist in California to join our retailer-facing team. You will build models for item-level forecasts using consumption data, brand history, and marketing inputs, and create product flow patterns based on seasonality and promotions.

You will lead CPFR meetings with Mattel sales teams, present findings, and drive action plans for seasonal strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Finance, Data Analytics or related field.
• ,
• 3-4 years of retailer-facing experience in inventory management or demand planning.
• CPG experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Determine model for evaluating item-level forecasts considering multiple data factors.
• Create product flow patterns based on seasonality, promotions, distribution and pricing.
• Lead and participate in CPFR forecasting meetings with retailer; present findings and action plans.
• Collaborate daily/weekly with sales and retail teams for in-season execution and order reviews.
• Present POS demand forecasts to S&OP teams to reach monthly consensus.
• Provide PO recommendations for domestic and import; maximize fill rates.
• Liaison between customer service and supply planning to optimize PO fill.
• Produce reports to support sales, customers and business needs.
