Job summary

RectorSeal, based in Houston, TX, seeks a Sr. Demand Planner to create and maintain a rolling 12-month forecast for the full product portfolio. You will combine historical demand, customer forecasts, and sales input to develop an actionable plan and coordinate cross-functional discussions.

Ideal candidates have strong analytical skills, experience with item-level forecasting, and the ability to work with incomplete data. The role interfaces with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or analytics.
• Strong quantitative and problem-solving abilities with incomplete data.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional discussions and data preparation.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a rolling 12-month item-level forecast for the full portfolio.
• Analyze historical data, customer forecasts, sales input, and market drivers.
• Clean, reconcile, and document data from multiple sources; identify gaps.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, investigate variances, and drive improvements.
• Coordinate Sales and Operations Planning meetings and follow-up.
• Maintain forecasting parameters, hierarchies, and inputs; improve data quality.
• Support inventory and supply planning decisions with demand assumptions.
• Develop understanding of products, markets, and customers for better forecasting.
