Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking a dedicated supply planning professional to develop and maintain plans that balance forecasted demand with target service levels in a fast-paced environment. You will monitor inventories, coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics to keep supply aligned with business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, operations, or related field.
• Open to recent graduates with relevant workplace experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in supply planning or related roles preferred.
• APICS CPIM/CSCP certification or in progress.
• Experience using Tableau or Power BI for reporting.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain supply plans to support forecasted demand and service targets.
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust to prevent shortages or excess stock.
• Collaborate with demand planning, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics to align supply with needs.
• Analyze supply constraints, lead times and capacity issues, and propose mitigation plans.
• Track and report key planning metrics like inventory turns, service levels, and forecast adherence.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning accuracy, inventory optimization, and process efficiency.
• Communicate risks, constraints, and planning assumptions to cross-functional stakeholders.
