Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Delivery Solutions Architect to lead post-sale technical delivery and drive expansion of our platform across complex customer use cases. You will partner with sales, field engineering, and executive sponsors to orchestrate multi-team efforts, ensuring adoption, success, and value realization.

This hybrid technical/commercial role requires deep data and AI expertise, strong architectural judgment, and the ability to translate business outcomes into concrete initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering technical projects in Data and AI.
• Programming in Python, SQL or Scala.
• Experience in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success or consulting role.
• Understanding of distributed data systems.
• Ability to attribute business value to project deliverables.
• Strong technical program or project delivery and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Solutions Architects to understand use case demand for prioritised customers.
• Lead the post-technical win account strategy and execution plan for major use cases.
• Be the accountable technical leader across multiple teams and customer use cases.
• Be the first contact for technical issues related to production/go-live status.
• Leverage Shared Services, User Education, Onboarding/Technical Services and escalation to experts.
• Create and execute a point-of-view to accelerate use cases into production with PS.
• Navigate Product and Engineering for new product innovations and upgrades.
• Develop an execution plan covering all activities of customer-facing roles and teams.
• Provide internal and external KPI updates on usage and customer health to the Technical GM.
