Job summary

Databricks seeks a Delivery Solutions Architect to partner with Sales, Solutions Architecture, and Field Engineering to accelerate adoption of the Databricks platform for Digital Native customers. You will guide architecture decisions, design secure, scalable data and AI solutions, and drive measurable business outcomes across complex use cases.

The role focuses on technical strategy, governance, and customer outcomes, mentoring peers and leading engagements through production and adoption

Qualifications

5+ years in solutions architecture, solutions engineering, or related technical role.
Experience influencing strategy and architecture across complex customer use cases.
Strong coding proficiency in Python, SQL, Scala or similar languages.
Deep understanding of distributed data systems, analytics, data warehousing, and cloud architectures.
Ability to design secure, scalable data solutions and lead architecture discussions.

Responsibilities

Define and influence execution strategies across complex use cases and multiple workstreams.
Serve as trusted technical advisor, leading architecture discussions with customer leads.
Design secure, governed, scalable Databricks architectures balancing performance and cost.
Build solutions, prototypes, and reusable assets to accelerate outcomes.
Anticipate platform maturity and establish governance and operational best practices.
Drive adoption by aligning technical delivery with business outcomes.
Coordinate across Databricks, customer, and implementation teams to manage risks.
Mentor peers and contribute reusable technical guidance and enablement.
