Job summary

CAE USA Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager II to drive new business growth within its Defense and Security Military Training and Simulation portfolio.

You will build customer relationships, analyze market conditions, and shape solutions aligned with priority missions for US defense customers. You will collaborate with capture, program, engineering, strategy, finance, contracts, and other teams to craft growth strategies, business cases, and competitive positioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, national security, international relations, or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in business development, capture management, program management, or defense industry.
• Ability to translate customer missions, requirements, and priorities into actionable growth strategies.
• US citizenship required due to DoD contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes business development plans within an assigned portfolio.
• Identifies and qualifies new opportunities aligned with CAE’s growth objectives.
• Maintains relationships with government customers, military leaders, and industry partners.
• Develops customer engagement plans and opportunity assessments for future opportunities.
• Supports capture and proposal activities with customer insight and competitive intelligence.
• Tracks opportunity status and communicates risks and actions to leadership.
