Job summary

Amgen Inc. (IR) is seeking a Director, Strategic Data Lead to guide data strategy across priority commercial areas and translate brand priorities into actionable data plans. You’ll partner with Brand teams, Data Management, Legal, Privacy, and Procurement to ensure data assets drive business outcomes.

You will shape data opportunities, own prioritization, and influence senior leaders with a clear, data-driven view of value, risk, and investment across the organization.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or equivalent experience with data strategy and analytics.
• At least 4 years managing people/teams.
• Experience in pharmaceutical data ecosystem preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic data partnerships across priority commercial areas and translate brand priorities into data strategies.
• Frame data use cases, assess data assets, and recommend sourcing options.
• Collaborate with Brand teams, Data Management, Legal, Privacy, and Procurement.
• Prioritize data opportunities and coordinate cross-functional execution.
