Amgen Inc. seeks a Data Science Senior Director, Research Data Domain Lead to guide the Research Data Enablement Hub and drive a robust, FAIR, AI-ready data ecosystem. You will align Research with Enterprise data strategy, lead a matrixed network, and shape governance, standards, and strategic decisions.

Strong data fluency, enterprise thinking, and relationship-building across senior stakeholders are essential to translate complex needs into prioritized actions and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor’s in a relevant field with strong leadership experience.
• Experience managing people and leading teams, programs, or resources.
• Deep understanding of data strategy, governance, and enterprise data initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Research Data Enablement Hub and execute the Data Domain Strategy.
• Own data governance, quality, and lifecycle management for Research data assets.
• Prioritize data products, AI readiness, and enterprise value across domains.
• Collaborate with R&D Tech, EDSE, and privacy/security teams on data investments.
• Drive organizational change and cross-domain alignment through leadership.
