Job summary

Amgen seeks a Medical Insights Director to lead strategic analytics and drive insight generation across therapeutic areas. You will partner with Field Medical leadership to shape data-driven strategy, coordinate with global teams, and deliver AI-enabled analytics solutions that inform patient-focused decisions.

The role reports to the Executive Director of Medical Data and Analytics and requires strong leadership, deep data science expertise, and experience guiding cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor's with required years of data science/analytics leadership experience.
• Experience managing people and leading teams, projects, or programs.
• Strong ability to translate complex data into actionable business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic analytics thought partner to Field Medical and Medical Strategy leaders.
• Lead development and improvement of analytics capabilities, including AI/ML applications.
• Own the customer universe and omnichannel targeting framework.
• Lead US-based analytics team and coordinate with global delivery teams.
• Drive cross-functional engagement to deliver enterprise-ready insights.
