Job summary

Equinix is seeking a commissioning leader to coordinate the planning and execution of large-scale data center projects across multiple US locations. You will drive standard commissioning plans, liaise with operations and construction teams, and manage budgets and timelines to meet readiness milestones.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in data center commissioning, 3+ years in leadership within mission-critical environments, and a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of data center commissioning experience preferred.
• 3+ years leadership experience in a mission-critical environment preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Creates and implements multi-facility, standards-based commissioning plans and schedules.
• Communicates effectively with both business operations and construction managers.
• Manages regional pipeline to inform resource planning and course corrections.
• Develops electrical and mechanical Functional Performance Test procedures and FAT procedures.
• Prepares commissioning reports and recommendations to optimize building operations.
