Cardinal Health is seeking a Data Analyst to partner with operational leadership, delivering high-quality data preparation, reporting and analytics. The role focuses on extracting, cleansing, consolidating, and visualizing financial and operational data to ensure timely, accurate insights for decision-making across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in data analysis or related role preferred.
• Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis preferred.
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (PowerBI, Tableau) preferred.
• Experience with other data analysis tools (Alteryx) and/or programming languages (Python, R); Excel proficiency preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills; ability to present complex data clearly.

Responsibilities

• Apply comprehensive knowledge of analytical concepts to independently perform complex analyses and large-scale projects.
• Extract, transform, and consolidate financial and operational data from multiple sources ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Develop, validate and maintain KPIs and conduct ad hoc analyses for senior management insights.
• Proactively understand enterprise data and business processes; analyze complex datasets to identify trends and opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality and streamline reporting processes; develop innovative solutions.
