Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of brokerage or transportation experience and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office and Outlook.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Detail oriented; strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of HTS classification and U.S. Customs regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service and maintain relationships with front line personnel.
• Prepare, analyze, and submit documentation to U.S. Customs, agents, and clients to ensure compliance.
• Resolve billing issues and coordinate payments; ensure accurate invoicing.
• Research and negotiate carrier rates; respond to quotes for freight movements.
• Handle high volume, time-sensitive work and work independently with minimal supervision.
