Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking a customer service representative to ensure timely release and movement of freight. You will build strong relationships with customers' front line personnel across divisions to deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities include preparing and submitting documentation for U.S. Customs, researching and negotiating carrier rates, resolving billing issues, and advising customers on payment terms.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 12 months of brokerage or transportation experience and/or customer service experience required.
• Proficient with MS Office and Outlook.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues to ensure timely freight movement.
• Prepare, analyze, and submit documentation to customs, agents, and clients.
• Research and negotiate carrier rates and quotes for freight movement.
• Resolve billing issues and advise on payment terms.
• Handle high volume work with accuracy and efficiency.
