Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to handle incoming phone and email inquiries from existing and potential customers in Dayton, NJ. You will accurately maintain customer accounts, process orders, and communicate schedules and delays to customers and sales staff while supporting strategic accounts on-site.

The role requires an AA or equivalent, 3+ years in related fields, and experience with project management, MS Office, and AS400 is a plus.

Qualifications

• AA or equivalent degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field.
• Packaging products or distribution experience preferred.
• Project management experience and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Fluency in English, verbal and written; bilinguals preferred.
• Proficient data entry and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive phone and email inquiries from existing and potential customers.
• Maintain customer accounts, inquiries and orders; process product inquiries or samples.
• Communicate order schedules and delays to customers and sales staff; solicit add-on sales.
• Prepare, enter, and monitor customer orders for strategic accounts; work onsite.
