Job summary

Smurfit Westrock Missouri/Arkansas locations are seeking a Customer Account Specialist in Springfield, MO to manage accounts and the daily order fulfillment process. You will handle order management, inventory coordination, and customer inquiries about status, orders, and shipments.

Success requires experience in customer service or account management in manufacturing, MS Office proficiency, and strong communication with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Customer Service or Account Management within a manufacturing environment.
• HS or GED is required; college degree is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and the ability to learn multiple system interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounts and develop strong customer relationships to support and promote current and future business opportunities
• Develop strong internal working relationships to support efficient, timely, and accurate response to customer expectations
• Coordinate and process daily delivery schedules with scheduling, shipping and sales, and communicate with management and customers
• Assist with cost containment and margin improvement; ensure accurate product pricing for invoicing
• Negotiate win‑win solutions for customers' order fulfillment when production or shipment delays occur
