Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking a Senior Manager/Director of Customer Planning to drive the retail customer strategy in partnership with brand marketing, sales, and supply chain. The role focuses on maximizing long‑term value by aligning category strategies with customer needs and leading cross-functional initiatives across multiple teams.

You will influence price strategies, lead annual account planning, and support major brand initiatives from development through execution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Sales, Trade Marketing, Brand Marketing/Product Management, Supply Chain, or Finance experience within a CPG and/or retail company.
• Experience with MS Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Work closely with field sales leadership to understand customer strategies and business priorities.
• Collaborate with sales and brand teams to create short-term (12-18 month) and holistic customer plans.
• Proactively manage the execution of pricing strategy across channels and customers.
• Provide financial thought leadership and marginal analysis to evaluate investment opportunities across all customers.
• Lead the annual account planning process by aligning with leaders on volume and price goals and closing gaps.
• Support brand initiatives through the development and execution phases with customers and track results.
• Manage total customer demand through effective sales and operations planning engagement.
• Provide thought leadership on pricing and competitive activity to improve decision making.
• Support sales teams for customer negotiations related to shelf resets and ad hoc requests.
• Communicate clearly to cross-functional teams with strong written and oral skills.
