Job summary

Dayton Freight Lines in Indiana is seeking a Corporate Recruiter to manage full-cycle recruiting for Service Center and Shop locations. You will source, screen, interview, and extend offers, while analyzing processes to improve efficiency and build strong candidate pipelines.

You will partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, allocate job posting budgets, and drive metrics to ensure timely hires across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting qualified Mechanics, preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Comfortable making decisions independently.
• Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods.

Responsibilities

• Manage full life cycle recruiting for Service Center and Shop roles including developing recruitment strategies, sourcing & screening candidates, participating in onsite interviews, offering extensions/negotiations.
• Analyze current recruiting processes and make recommendations for improvement.
• Responsible for the full pipeline interview and hiring process in iCIMS for Service Center and Shop requisitions.
• Identify local career centers and colleges to build candidate pipelines.
• Create and implement long and short-term objectives relating to recruiting Service Center and Shop personnel.
• Allocate company dollars to postings and advertisements.
