Job summary

GFiber is seeking a Corporate Development Associate to help drive strategic initiatives and evaluate M&A opportunities while supporting capital markets activities. You will build long-term financial models and conduct industry research to guide GFiber’s network expansion.

The role focuses on financial modeling, deal execution, and financing strategy, contributing to the company’s growth and strategic planning efforts in a complex telecommunications environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience as an investment banking analyst.
• 2 years of experience working with Excel with a proven track record of building complex, multi-year integrated financial models.
• 2 years of direct exposure to debt capital market transactions and an understanding of capital structure optimization as well as cash flow waterfall mechanics
• 2 years of experience managing and interpreting large data sets to identify long-term trends and drivers.

Responsibilities

• Long-Term Strategic Planning: Own the development and annual refresh of GFiber’s 10-year integrated financial model.
• M&A & Valuation: Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to evaluate potential acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures.
• Capital Markets & Financing: Assist in evaluating funding strategies and executing financing activities—including debt issuances and credit facility management—to fund long-term infrastructure builds.
• Transaction Execution: Support the end-to-end M&A lifecycle, from initial screening and due diligence to deal structuring and post-close integration.
