Job summary

GFiber is seeking a PgM Lead to manage a team of program managers, ensuring schedules are met and critical projects are delivered. This role spans engineering, operations, construction, budgeting, forecasting, and planning, requiring strong leadership and cross-functional coordination.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in managing complex schedules with multiple vendors, leading planning cycles, and negotiating contracts. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in construction management, engineering, business, telecommunications, or related field.
• Proven experience leading a complex schedule with diverse vendors, annual planning cycles, contracts, invoicing, budgeting, forecasting, and vendor negotiations.
• 10 years of leadership experience in Telecommunications, Consulting, Oil and Gas, or related capital projects.
• 5 years of people management and/or vendor management (RFx, scope management, etc).
• Travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of program managers to ensure schedules and critical projects are delivered on time.
• Coordinate across internal Google Fiber groups and external partners to deploy operational processes.
• Drive process improvements to increase deployment efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage multiple projects and programs and inform long-term strategic planning.
• Oversee delivery of projects through direct reports and strategic partners/vendors.
