Social Finance is seeking a Corporate Controller to be the senior accounting leader and trusted partner to the CFO. You will own the integrity of financial reporting and drive planning, budgeting, and analysis that shape how the organization allocates resources.

You will lead a team of 4, manage an operating budget of about $30 million across multiple entities and active donations, and sit on the Management Team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience including budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and variance analysis.
• CPA or MS in Accounting/Finance preferred.
• Strong command of U.S. GAAP and internal controls; nonprofit/grant accounting familiarity.

Responsabilités

• Lead annual operating budget process across the organization; partner with leaders to build and finalize plans.
• Own budget-to-actual reporting and variance analyses with narrative explanations.
• Build multiyear financial models and rolling forecasts; run scenario analyses for investments and hiring.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close; shorten close calendar without compromising accuracy.
• Oversee federal grants management, including Uniform Guidance and single audits; ensure compliance.
