Job summary

Building Services 32BJ Benefit Funds is seeking a Director, Corporate Controller in New York, NY to lead fiscal planning, accounting operations, and strategic financial leadership for multi-employer funds.

You will manage a 25-person Accounting Management Team, work with senior leaders and the Board, drive budgeting, forecasting, and controls, and guide BI and ERP initiatives (Dynamics 365 F&O) to ensure compliance and performance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
• 10+ years of executive-level finance experience in large, multi-fund organizations.
• Proven ability to build and lead FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting across complex funds.
• Experience presenting to the Board of Trustees and senior leadership.
• CPA/CFA/CMA or other relevant certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fiscal planning and accounting across multiple Taft-Hartley funds.
• Lead Accounting Management Team (~25 staff) and ensure strong controls.
• Provide strategic analysis and recommendations to senior leadership and the Board of Trustees.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting across funds.
• Guide BI and ERP initiatives (Dynamics 365 F&O) to improve efficiency and compliance.
