Job summary

Our client, a growing organization in South Jersey, is seeking a strategic and hands-on Finance Controller to support financial planning, accounting, reporting, and operational finance initiatives across a multi-site business.

This role will partner closely with Accounting, Operations, and senior leadership to drive financial performance, oversee reporting, support month-end close activities, and deliver meaningful business insights that support key decision-making.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
• Strong FP&A background with a solid accounting foundation.
• Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, and business analysis.
• Experience in multi-unit or multi-location organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning across multiple business units and locations.
• Oversee and support month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for executive leadership.
• Develop financial models, dashboards, and KPI reporting to monitor business performance.
• Partner with operational and sales leadership to provide financial guidance and support strategic initiatives.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and performance drivers.
• Collaborate with Accounting to ensure alignment between financial reporting and planning activities.
• Support executive leadership with presentations, business analysis, and recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Drive financial visibility and accountability across a multi-location organization.
