Job summary

SLTC Ultimate Holdings seeks an experienced Corporate Controller to lead accounting across a growing multi-site environment. You will own the close, drive GAAP consistency, and partner with the CFO and PE sponsor on governance and reporting.

You will build scalable processes, oversee multi-entity consolidation, and mentor staff while expanding through acquisitions and new sites. A PE-backed growth phase awaits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (Master's preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience across multi-entity or multi-location environments.
• 5+ years in a Controller or senior accounting leadership role.
• Experience in private equity-backed companies; M&A due diligence experience.
• Strong GAAP, internal controls, and multi-state tax compliance.
• Advanced Excel skills; Netsuite experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the close process monthly, quarterly, and annually across all locations.
• Prepare board reporting, KPI dashboards, and covenant compliance packages for the PE sponsor.
• Ensure consistent GAAP application across all entities and locations.
• Manage multi-entity consolidation including intercompany eliminations.
• Supervise and develop staff accountants, AR and AP staff across locations.
• Standardize accounting policies, procedures, and chart of accounts as new locations come online.
• Build reporting cadences for a distributed, multi-site team.
• Support financial due diligence on acquisitions targets.
• Lead accounting integration for newly acquired businesses and open balance sheets.
• Design scalable accounting processes and controls for new locations.
• Coordinate banking, tax registration, payroll, and systems setup for new sites.
• Train new-location accounting staff on corporate policy and systems.
• Implement and monitor internal controls companywide.
• Lead external audit process and multi-state tax compliance.
• Drive ERP optimization and process improvements.
• Support cash management and budgeting/forecasting with the CFO.
