SHR Talent partners with a private equity-backed, rapidly growing organization in the Chattanooga, TN area to fill a Corporate Controller position. The role centres on leading the close, consolidations, and reporting across multiple entities while scaling the accounting function.

Reporting to the CFO, you will manage the accounting team, ensure GAAP compliance, and support acquisitions and integrations in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and multi-entity accounting.
• Experience with consolidations and month-end close.
• Proven leadership and ability to develop accounting professionals.

Responsabilidades

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close across multiple entities.
• Own multi-entity consolidations and financial reporting.
• Review journals, reconciliations, GL activity, and statements.
• Prepare and enhance financial and management reporting.
• Mentor accounting team and partner with CFO on reporting matters.
• Support acquisitions and entity integrations; improve close timelines.
