Job summary

Wella Company in New York (hybrid) seeks a Corporate Communication Manager to develop and deliver high-impact content for internal and external channels, including the corporate website and social media. You will partner with HR, IT, Legal/Compliance, ESG and other functions to craft clear messaging and manage multiple projects.

The candidate excels in translating complex topics into engaging written content, with strong writing and storytelling skills, and experience shaping leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in corporate or internal communications, in-house or agency.
• Experience partnering with HR, IT, Legal/Compliance, ESG and other functions.
• Experience writing executive social media content and leadership communications.
• Strong writing, editing, storytelling, and ability to translate complex topics for diverse audiences.
• Excellent project management and ability to juggle multiple initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, write and edit high-quality content for internal and external channels.
• Partner with HR, IT, Legal/Compliance, ESG to craft messaging for initiatives and policies.
• Host meetings with key functions to gather content and align publishing schedules.
• Write and manage executive communications and social media content for leaders.
• Draft video scripts for internal and external communications.
• Translate complex information into accessible messaging for diverse audiences.
• Manage multiple communications projects with timelines and quality standards.
• Maintain a consistent corporate voice aligned with brand guidelines.
• Support change management and organizational initiatives with communications strategies.
• Coordinate approvals with leadership and stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English

7+ years of corporate/internal communications experience

Strong writing and editing skills

Storytelling and editorial ability

Project management
