Job summary

Wella Company in New York is seeking a Director, Digital Partner for HR and Legal to lead global HR and Legal technology strategy and delivery. You will partner with HR and Legal leaders to design scalable, secure digital solutions for Hire to Retire, workforce administration, contract lifecycle, and compliance.

This hybrid role combines strategic planning with hands-on leadership across enterprise applications, ensuring reliability, security, and globally aligned solutions while balancing local

Qualifications

• Experience managing HRIS and Legal technology platforms in global environments.
• Understanding of scalable, integrated systems in HR and Legal domains, including cloud solutions.
• Strong ability to collaborate with HR and Legal leaders to translate needs into technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern the application strategy for HR and Legal systems.
• Own IT roadmap across HR and Legal processes including Hire to Retire.
• Drive modernization and rationalize legacy applications.
• Promote buy-over-build to improve speed and reduce complexity.
• Ensure standardized global solutions while meeting local regulatory needs.
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture for integration and security.
• Oversee delivery and lifecycle management of HRIS, legal systems, and platforms.
• Ensure end-to-end accountability from roadmap to operations.
• Drive release management, testing, and change control for compliance.
• Champion user-centric design and adoption.
• Maintain stable operations with global IT teams.
• Act as escalation point for HR and Legal applications, ensuring continuity.
• Engage with vendors and service providers to realize business value.
• Define and track business value including efficiency gains and compliance improvements.
