Job summary

Forensic Fluids Laboratories is seeking a Controller to lead the accounting, medical billing, and HR operations, aiming to deliver accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls to guide management decisions. You will manage annual budgeting, forecasting, policy development, and external relationships with insurers, attorneys, and bankers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited college/university.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Experience in medical billing and with a small company.
• CPA or CMA designation preferred.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong attention to detail and strategic thinking.
• Teamwork oriented; EOS experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting, medical billing, and HR operations for the company.
• Maintain accurate and timely accounting records and financial reporting.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive system of accounting policies and controls.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and variance reporting.
• Coordinate external relationships with insurers, attorneys, and bankers.
• Lead department team and ensure accountability and performance.
• Prepare and monitor financial statements and KPIs for leadership.
• Drive organizational change and support growth initiatives.
• Support additional areas of the business as needed.
