Job summary

LHH is seeking an experienced and strategic Controller to lead the accounting and financial operations of our growing professional services organization. The Controller will oversee all accounting functions, financial reporting, budgeting support, internal controls, cash management, and compliance activities while providing leadership to the accounting team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 3+ years of leadership or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Advanced proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience managing month-end and year-end close processes.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements per U.S. GAAP.
• Analyze financial results and advise executive leadership.
• Develop reporting packages and KPIs.
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
• Monitor profitability, project margins, and utilization.
• Oversee AP/AR, payroll, fixed assets, and cash management.
• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors.
