Job summary

Our client seeks an experienced Controller to lead the accounting function, partnering with executives to drive financial success. The role oversees financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, audits, and tax compliance while guiding a high-performing team.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong GAAP expertise, and excellence in analysis and communication. MBA/CPA preferred; ERP system expertise required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• MBA preferred; CPA certification preferred.
• 10+ years in accounting/finance with leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting and controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, payables and payroll.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Partner with executives on budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Ensure GAAP compliance, internal controls and regulatory reporting.
• Manage audits with external auditors and improve processes across accounting.
• Lead mergers, acquisitions and strategic accounting initiatives.
• Develop policies, systems, and cross-functional collaboration.
