Job summary

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager of Contracts and Proposals to lead proposal responses and manage the contract lifecycle with customers.

You will coordinate with legal, finance, product marketing, and sales to ensure rigorous due diligence, accurate risk assessment, and timely contract execution. The role requires deep knowledge of contract law and regulatory requirements, strong leadership, and the ability to develop templates and scalable processes across the

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree (JD, MBA) preferred
• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in contracts management, proposal development, or a related field
• Demonstrated knowledge of contract law, commercial contracting principles, and regulatory requirements
• Proven experience managing the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, execution, and closeout
• Strong track record of leading and responding to competitive RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes in a corporate or technology-driven environment
• Experience working cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Compliance teams to drive contract and proposal outcomes

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development and submission of proposal responses (RFI, RFP, RFQ) with accuracy and timeliness
• Manage all phases of the contract lifecycle from review to handoff
• Establish and improve standardized processes, workflows, and internal controls for contracting activities
• Identify and communicate contractual risks and business implications to senior leadership
• Serve as liaison between Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Product teams
• Guide negotiation efforts with customers, balancing risk and business goals
• Develop cost breakdowns, revenue estimates, and financial summaries for proposed agreements
• Create and govern a library of templates, statements of work, boilerplates, and tools
• Lead, develop, and mentor the Contracts and Proposals team
• Maintain up-to-date understanding of contract law and regulatory requirements
