Job summary

NAACP Empowerment Programs, Inc. in Baltimore seeks a Coordinator, Procurement and Contracts to support the procurement team by drafting, reviewing and revising a variety of contracts, including vendor, independent contractor, marketing and licensing agreements.

The role focuses on developing contract-related processes, playbooks and systems to improve velocity, efficiency and standardization while identifying workflow improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with a certificate in Procurement and Contracts or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in procurement or contracts administration.
• Familiarity with contract language and standard terms.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data visualization tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a comprehensive contract management system.
• Draft and create contracts for management review.
• Support contract processes, playbooks, and guidance documents.
• Monitor contracts and manage renewals/close-outs.
• Collaborate with peers to ensure compliant administrative processes.
• Prepare contract letters and presentations.
• Conduct training on contracting processes.
• Support vendor onboarding and negotiations as needed.
