Job summary

B&G Foods is seeking a Contract Recruiter to partner with hiring managers across multiple manufacturing sites, managing the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing and screening to offer negotiation and onboarding support.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a focus on production, operations, maintenance, and light industrial. Experience with Workday and passive candidate sourcing is preferred. Travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5+ years of full cycle recruitment required, with production/operations/light industrial focus preferred.
• Applicant tracking system experience required; Workday preferred.
• Experience sourcing passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and other tools.
• Strong recruitment best practices and interviewing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for exempt and non-exempt positions across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop recruitment strategies.
• Source qualified candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and direct sourcing techniques.
• Screen resumes and conduct phone/video interviews to assess qualifications and fit.
• Coordinate interview scheduling and facilitate communication between candidates and hiring teams.
• Present qualified candidates and provide recommendations to hiring managers.
• Manage offer development, negotiations, and acceptance processes.
• Ensure recruiting activities comply with employment laws and company policies.
• Track recruiting metrics and provide status updates on open requisitions.
• Maintain accurate candidate and requisition records in the Applicant Tracking System (Workday).
