Job summary

Körber Supply Chain Group is seeking a Contract Manager to support the full lifecycle of commercial agreements across our Parcel, Automation, and Consulting units in the U.S. You will review, draft, and negotiate contracts, assess risk, and coordinate with stakeholders to protect company interests.

The role emphasizes front-end risk assessment, policy compliance, and enabling project execution. Strong negotiation and cross-functional teamwork are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 3+ years in contract management.
• Knowledge of U.S. contracting principles; cross-border law is a plus.
• Experience with large-scale industrial automation or logistics projects.
• Familiarity with cross-border compliance and international trade agreements.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with contract management systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate customer and vendor contracts with legal support.
• Identify risks in RFPs, bids, and terms and communicate them.
• Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Finance, Engineering, and Legal to align contract positions.
• Prepare risk summaries and recommendations ensuring policy compliance.
• Lead or support negotiations on scope, pricing, payment, and IP terms.
• Handoff contract requirements to project teams; ensure key obligations are clear.
• Provide contract support during project execution, handling changes and disputes.
• Develop and improve contract templates and playbooks.
